Tarot Beginners' Course with Sue Farebrother

10 sessions: 6 Thursday evenings (and 2 Saturday seminar double sessions) starting Thursday 7 September 2017, 7-9.30 pm, Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ. Recordings of classes will be made available to students by email each week.

Dates: Thursdays, 7 September to 12 October 2017, plus 30 Sep and 14 Oct (Saturdays).

About the course: This popular Beginners' course will cover all 78 cards in depth, show different layouts and offer plenty of practice with readings. During the course, Sue will use guided imagery, storytelling, intuitive exercises and creative practical work to help you develop your understanding. She will also consider links between astrology and tarot. By the end of the course, you will have enough knowledge and experience to do consultations for others and for yourself. There will be a small amount of homework set. Bring your cards if you have them (no specific pack is required), or learn about types of tarot pack on the first evening. No previous knowledge of the tarot is assumed. Recordings of classes will be made available to the class by email each week.

Tarot Intermediate Saturday Seminars with Sue Farebrother (Open to All)

Saturday all-day, 10.30am to 4.45pm, Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ.

Dates: Saturdays, 27 May 2017 and 28 October 2017.

27 May 2017: Building Your Confidence. Using card combining, group and individual exercises, and a new layout, this day workshop will enhance your confidence in your readings. There will be plenty of opportunities to do practice readings and to increase your understanding of interpreting different combinations of tarot cards. A basic understanding of the cards will be assumed/required.

21 October 2017: A second intermediate-level seminar for those who wish to focus on relationship and work questions.

Cost: £60 each (or £50 each for students who have attended a Tarot Course at the LSA)

Tarot Intermediate Course with Sue Farebrother

Eight Thursday evenings starting 15 Feburary 2018, 7-9.30 pm, Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ. Recordings of classes will be made available to students via Google Drive each week.

Dates: Thursdays, 15 February to 5 April 2018.

About the course: This course is designed for those of you who already have a reasonable familiarity with tarot and would like to build on your knowledge and confidence. We will approach deepening your understanding of the imagery of the cards through discussion, guided meditation, psychic development exercises, and story-telling. Broadly, the planned content is:

1. Recapping the Major and Minor cards briefly, including new exercises with the Court cards

2. Card combining, including new layouts and spreads

3. Reading practice (in pairs and small groups)

4. Reversing the cards

5. Symbolic thinking and keeping a Tarot Journal

6. Intuitive exercises and guided imagery

7. Thinking outside the box; the cards you like or dislike

8. The questions of karma and your continuing personal development

9. Confidence building. Professional opportuities. Reading just for yourself

Recordings of classes will be made available to the class via Google Drive each week.
